Authentic 1920's Styles
Cataloged herein is our collection of authentic forged iron
lighting fixtures. Popularly known as Country Cottage, Tutor,
Spanish Revival, and Old Hollywood. All are authentically detailed
in forged iron, and fire burned to an authentic black finish.
Construction is heavy in weight, with abundant hammer marks and
rivet fasteners. Our Garden Fixtures (U.L. wet) are finished
with a durable all-weather Bronze Coat. The Mica Lamp Co. also
accommodates requests for custom models.
The authentic BLACK IRON FINISH is achieved by using the centuries
old process of applying a high heat flame directly to the surface
of the wrought iron. This "burned" or "fire finish"
is naturally uneven; colors range from gray to black to blue
and red. Chipping or peeling is natural and part of the "old
world" or "antique-aged" appearance. Authentic
